Vacation (Friday through early Monday)

So today is my 4th official day on vacation. Today both dad and Annie are working so I'm here with Josie. She's still in bed and my fruit loops are getting soggy but I thought I would update y'all on whats going on. So Friday I arrived around 1 am and we got home around 2. Needless to say we all went straight to bed since dad had to be to work Friday at like 6. Then when Annie, Josie, and I all woke up, we went out for breakfast at a place called The Golden Flame. The food was good (I had an omlette) but I was so nervous I couldn't really enjoy it. I mean I know Annie doesn't bite but come on, this is my dad's girlfriend we're talking about. That's fucking intimidating. She knows my dad more than I do. But even though I was quiet we had a good time.

Next Annie drove me around town as we went to her mums. I got to see the Budweiser factory, the Lake, my dad's office, Annie's office, the Submarine, the lighthouse, the beach, the pier, downtown, the testing ground for the cranes my dads company builds, and finally the town of Twin Rivers. It was all very exciting.

I have meet (so far) Annie's parents, both of Annie's sisters, dad and Annie's friends Michelle and some others that were at Josie's birthday party, Josie's friends Allie, Ashley, Akiea, Adrianna, Brianna, and some others that were at the birthday party, the next door neighbors, like 5 Roberts, Peanut (Larry), and Pookie (Another Robert), and so many more. My favorite one so far was definiatly Pookie or as I call him Bobby. He was fucking hilarious and damn cute. If I see him again, I'll get a picture. Maybe.

Saturday was Josie's birthday party. We went to the Holiday Inn and had a pool party. Everyone had a lot of fun and I got to swim! (Annie was nice enough to loan me a swimsuit) We had sloppy joes and hotdogs and chips and dip and cake. It was really cool. Everyone was really nice and gave me my space. I suspect Annie told them of my people issues. However, I did get to know little Ashley well. She's like me and not really a "people" person. Though it's more the girls faults than hers. They're not very inclusive.

Sunday had to have been the best day of my vacation yet. Dad knows I'm a lot like him and love to learn and discover new things so they took me to The National Train Museum and then to the Bay Beach Wildlife Preserve. I took over 400 pictures of the trains, the animals, and everything in between. I even got a couple of Annie, Josie, and my dad. And of course Annie insisted on getting a few of me and my dad. And of fucking course dad insisted on snapping quiet a few of me when I wasn't looking. Evil old fart. I got to see a snowy owl and feed the ducks and geese. Then we went to Hu-Hots for lunch. It's this excellent mongolian restraunt. http://www.huhot.com/ You have to see for yourself just how awesome it is.

Another place we ate at was Friar Tucks on Friday. Lunch with my dad, Annie, and Josie. Friar Tucks is a very unique resturant/bar. It had a very realistic feel from the very dim lights too all the waiters in little friar's outfits. If you've ever seen Romeo and Juliet you know what I'm talking about.

My dad and I have been working hard on warming up to each other but it's not easy. You have to remember, this is the longest we've ever spent together in my 18 years of life. We've actually had a couple heart-to-hearts where I learned why he and Bethy split, why he hates my mum, and some of the reckless shit he did when he was my age. I see now why he doesn't judge me for my mistakes because he's made the same.

Well that's all I really have to say for the first few days. I don't know what's going on the rest of the week but I'll try to update again before I leave. If not, you know y'all will get it all when I get back on Saturday.

I love and miss y'all. Hope all is well with everyone and everyone is staying out of trouble.
