Josie's Birthday Present

After a week of careful consideration, thoughtful planning, and a lot of asking questions, I have FINALLY gotten Josie her 10th birthday present. She is getting an Italian charm bracelet.

The charms I have decided to give her are:

Happy Birthday Charm (It's her birthday so this one was kind of obvious.)

Ice Skating Charm (She's addicted to ice skating and she's really good at it too.)

I <3 My Mommy Charm (Because she loves her mother very much.)

Musical Notes Charm (I know she loves listening to music so I thought this would be perfect.)

Cellphone Charm (Like most people her age, she spends way to much time on the damn thing.)

I Love You Charm (I wanted to give her this charm because I truly do love her. Even if our parents aren't married, she's my little sister.)

Jack & Sally Charm (Okay so I have no idea if she likes or hell has ever even seen The Nightmare Before Christmas but I adore it and I wanted her to have a representation of me with her at all times. :-))

I hope she likes it. I know the biggest present I can give her though is just being there for her on her birthday. I can't wait to give her, Annie, and dad a big hug. A week with them just doesn't seem long enough but I know I'll be able to go back often. As much as I love my mother, I've been with her for 18 years. I need time with my father. The other half of the equation. I need answers and I need time to connect with him.

I've been listening to music by Michael Jackson lately and I have fallen in love with his version of the famous Charlie Chaplin song Smile. Now I listened to his music BEFORE he died and I haven't liked his music more just because he died. No I have simply rediscovered that which I already liked.

Also I played Guitar Hero for the first time last night on the Wii. Oh my giddy gods trousers. This game is fucking hard! And I had it on EASY! 3 fucking buttons. 3 BUTTONS. Green, red, and fucking yellow. I still couldn't keep up half the time. I even had trouble playing Fur Elise on the fucking thing and it's one of the simplest songs in the damn world.

I'll miss everyone while I'm going. Leave me love. I'll reply when I get back. :-) (Don't worry, I don't leave until the 30th after work.)
