Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince

Last night I went to see the new Harry Potter film, Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince. Or HP & HBP as it is easier to say. I was very excited to finally see this movie. As I'm sure we all remember it was originally slated to come out around the same time as Twilight but due to some reason or other it got pushed back to yesterday. I know that anticipation is great for the movie but seriously, I hated the wait.

Now on to the movie. This film was action packed from minute one. They started off with the Death Eaters destroying this bridge. It was...SPECTACULAR! Then of course we jumped right into the thick of things.

Some of my favorite moment's from the movie had to be...

1) When Dumbldore and Harry appiriated. Wow. Then after the walked a few feet Dumbldore said, "I'm sure your wondering why your here Harry." and Harry responded, "After 6 years I just kind of go with it."

2) Ginny and Harry's kiss! OH MY GOD! So sweet. So innocent. SO AWESOME.

3) When Ron ate the chocolates filled with a very powerful love potion. And started hitting on Prof. Slughorn.

4) When Ron said, "I tell you Harry, these girls are gonna kill me."

5) When Ron said Hermiones name in the hospital wing.

6) Every single time Hermione hit one of the boys.

7) Malfoy crying. Even I was moved.

8) Ron trying out for Keeper.

9) When McCormac puked on Snape's shoes! Score!

10) When Snape killed Dumbldore. This moment is very important to the entire series. It is necessery and Dumbldore knew it. That's why he asked Snape to kill him.

Over all I defiantly give this movie a 9/10. Only thing that could have made it any better would have been having Dumbldore's funeral included in the movie but with the movie already being SO long, I can understand why they felt this needed to go. For time constrant reasons. But still, defiantly worth the watch. The graphics were great, the script witty and excellent, and the cast really put their hearts into this movie. Go see it.

Writing

I've always had a passion for the written word. When I was younger it was simply the reading that I enjoyed but then I started writing my own work. At first only one person was aloud to read what I wrote. She was my best friend at the time and enjoyed what I wrote. It was always something romantic or high schoolish. I didn't like it. It never really felt genuine to me. I was writing what I knew Heather would like to read. Plain and simple.

She writes to please others because she craves the words she knew her readers would say.

After a few years I began working more on poetry instead of stories. My poetry was sad and depressing. Dark and suicidle. I wasn't in a good place and neither was my work. I couldn't handle life and so I tried to end mine. As I'm sure we can all see, I didn't succeed. After my failed attempt, I had a new outlook on life. My writing brightened.

It takes the darkest night to make the brightest day.

My work now isn't always cheerful. There are a lot of dark themes. Murder, sex, and vampires being the 3 things I write most about. My favorite stories I've written are most defiantly All I Want For Christmas (Murder), Ice Cube Kisses (Sex), and The Lie Detector Test (Vampires...specifically Twilight vampires).

Writing is better than sex because for once,
you can score the best one, instead of the same ole same.

Now I write for me and me alone. I don't write to please people. I write to please myself.

In other news, tonight is the new season premier of Eureka on the new SyFy channel. Someone want to explain why my SciFi is now SyFy?? I liked it better the other way. I'm excited to see the new season of Eureka after the way they left it last year...I mean come on! Carter is like no longer the sheriff and Jo is going all nuts...and what about Zoey and Allison and Zane?? And who could forget Fargo? Yeah I'm not in love with this show or anything like that.

I'm still playing around on eBay and have actually made money! I'm so proud of myself. I'm defianatly going to keep up on there.

Michael Jackson Tribute

Today was the Michael Jackson tribute. Both public and private. I didn't see all of the public tribute but I did see the second half, or third, starting with John Mayer's touching performance. I then saw the touching speech by Brooke Shields. There were many great speeches, all of them very touching. Michael Jackson's brother Jermaine preformed Smile and it broke my heart.

The hardest thing to see was when Michael's daughter Paris spoke. She made a few short remarks before having a complete breakdown. She had to be escorted off stage by her aunt, Janet.

That's all I can really say about the memorial/tribute is that it was very touching and I defiantly suggest all watch.

Today's Life

Today is the first game of the second series of the season between the Cubs and the Braves. The Cubs are currently winning but we all know the score could change in the blink of an eye. My friend David (a.K.a. Fuzz) are betting on this series. Currently we do not have the terms of the bet really ironed out. But no doubt it will be interesting when whoever wins, wins. We shall see. I believe there will be pictures involved.

Today is also The Bachelorette. They are currently in Spain. Jillian and the 4 remaining boys are exploring the Spanish culture and personally, I love Kiptyn and hope they end up together. If Kip and Jillian don't fit then I wouldn't mind seeing her with like Jacob maybe. Or Reid. But I would hate for her to end up with Wes. I truly think Wes has a girlfriend. He totally seems the type. I'm not really sure about Jacob or Reid because I don't really watch the show. I just kind of ended up watching it one day and got engrossed.

So I'm scared and I have no one to talk to. I made a stupid mistake and I'm afraid I'm going to have to pay for it. I can't talk to my boyfriend about it and my sissy will kill me if I tell her. I just don't know what to do. Going to the doctor in a week if problem doesn't fix itself.

Today is definatly one of those days where you crawl out of bed and just want to turn right around and go back to sleep. I miss my boyfriend, I miss my friends, I miss my old life in general. Maybe one day I'll get all this shit figured out.

Music

Music plays a big part in my life as I'm sure it does yours. I have A.D.H.D and I often find it hard to concentrate without music. In silence my mind tends to wander far and wide. Though the wandering can be good. Without wandering, my mind might not be able to come up with some of the great ideas it does. Music inspires me to write, to dance, to laugh and to cry, and to do many other things. Personally I find inspiration in most genres of music. From country to pop to rock and roll. I love listening to not only people like Rob Thomas and Theory Of A Deadman but also Jessica Harp, Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne, The Bloodhound Gang, and Jimmy Buffett.

eBay

Selling on eBay is not for the faint of heart or the weak of mind. I must say, I now have a new appreciation for people who sell on there like it's their job. I just wanted to get rid of some old stuff, not become an eBay expert. I don't know, maybe I'm just slow but this isn't as easy as people make it look. The really hard part of all of it has to be the discription part. It's not easy to make something you hate sound like something someone else would love. I loved the Kingdom Hearts video game series, until I started playing Kingdom Hearts RE: Chain Of Memories. This game is EVIL. It's nothing like the ones I had known and loved. Hell it's a turn based fighting system...umm eww. I like to be able to fight by mashing the fuck out of the buttons...not taking my damn turn. Well that's all I can say for now, I have to go set up a PayPal account for this stupid shit.

Vacation? I wish!
