A Perfect Quote

Enough said! This is an amazing quote to live by.

Bills, Bills, Bills!

Responsibility. It fucking sucks. 6 months ago I was a carefree teenager who's head was well above water. Now I'm 18 years old and drowning in bills. I can't stand not being able to spend a little money on my self every now and then because I have to spend all of my money on bills.

The phone bill.
The car payments.
The car insurance.
The gas to go back and forth to work.
The cable bill.
The internet bill.
The cell phone bill.
Food.
Household shit.

Bills, bills, bills and more fucking bills.

I babysit. I make like $30 a day and I work on average 4 days a week. That's not enough money to pay for everything. I am lucky enough to live with my mother and step-father, so they help me out as much as they can but I'm still drowning in bills. It's not fair. I understand this is part of being an adult but this doesn't mean I have to like it. In fact, if this is what being an adult is all about, I want to go back to being a child. Remember the days when your biggest worry was if boys had cooties? Yeah, I defiantly miss those days. Sure, now I can vote, I don't have a curfew, and am out of the hell known as high school, but is it really worth it? Maybe in a few years I'll start liking it more. Maybe I'll get a decent job that I really love and will make enough money to support myself. Maybe I'll have kids that will change my world for the better. Maybe I'll get married to the man of my dreams. But until then, I'm going to continue to drown in bills, bills, bills!

She's slowly drowning, in the debt life created.
And she wonders, is it all really worth it?

Notes From An Authors Chair!

Things are heating up in Things Remembered. First the Archibald Coven was reintroduced then Angela popped in for a visit, bringing Ben along with her! What's next? In the next chapter of Things Remembered we shall be moving forward a week or so. We'll be taking a walk down memory lane with Esme. What does she remember from the most painful time of her life? This chapter will probably be a tearjerker.

While y'all wait for me to update, why don't you look up CrimsonMarie and read her amazing story Stay! It's a wonderful AH story. We see all our favorite characters here!

Stay synopsis:
As an actor, Edward Cullen is surrounded by people that he couldn't really care less about. What happens when he buys a house in the middle of nowhere and meets his new neighbors? AH, AU, ExB, rated M for future chapters and language.

Summer Blockbusters

There are many blockbusters coming to theaters this summer but which ones do I think are going to be hit and which ones do I think are going to be misses?

Transformers 2 has already hit movie theaters across the nation so saying this is going to be a huge hit is well, anticlimactic. I already know it’s popular and has been well received. Some movie goers seeing it multiple times. I will personally be skipping this one until it hits store shelves. I still have to see the original Transformers before I can touch on the sequel.

My Sisters Keeper has also already hit theaters. I haven’t heard much about the movie from people who have already seen it. I guess my friends tend to shy away from the emotional movies like this one. But I must say if your into comedic tragedy, it’s defiantly a must see. I plan on seeing this as soon as it comes to my local theater (small town and all that). With a touching plot and a strong cast, I’m sure this will make you weep.

Public Enemies hits theaters on July 1st. I am excited to see this story based on the life of John Dillinger, the notorious bank robber/gangster played by Johnny Depp. It’s defiantly a must see for those of you who are into movies like Good Fellas, the Godfather, and that movie with Mr. Pinky, and the other colors.

On a lighter note, Ice Age 3 is also hitting theaters the 1st. Will it be worth the watch? If your either 4 or have seen the other 2, maybe. While the first 2 were cute and well received, I think this is another over done series. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn they have a 4th movie in the works.

Bruno? Let’s just go with the NO! What can I say, I’m not a big Sasha Baron Cohen fan. My favorite movie he’s in? Sweeney Todd. Why? He got brutally beaten to within an inch of his life with a tea kettle THEN he got his throat slashed. Satisfying. Skip it on July 10th.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hits theaters on July 15th. I will be attending the midnight premier. Which is going to be interesting since I have to be to work at 5:30 in the morning. But it’s a defiantly a must see for all my likeminded muggles. Before girls started creaming themselves over Edward Cullen (I prefer Jasper Hale) we were creaming over Harry Potter (Or in my case Ron Weasley).

All The Boys Love Mandy Lane. Hmm. Maybe we should kill Mandy Lane and get our boys back. I honestly haven’t heard much about this film. My friends over at HD (Formerly from ISD) seem to think this is going to be a good film for the horror/thriller fans in all of us. Check it if your into being scared. Or if your into someone trying to scare you for an hour or so.

G-Force is the latest Disney movie to be hitting theaters on July 24. I think this movie calls to the inner kid in all of us. I for one can’t wait to see this movie. Yes I am still a huge fan of the wonderful Disney movies/the Disney channel. Haha I’m not even entirely sure this is a Disney movie. No it is. I just checked. So go check it out if you still have a little kid in you or are looking to reconnect with that youthful spirit from your prime.

Funny People comes out on July 31st and has an all-star cast of Adam Sandler, Seth Rogan, Leslie Mann, and Jason Schwartzman. Go. See. This. Movie. Well if you love a good laugh at some else’s expense. I don’t really know the plot of this movie or anything about it but come on! It stars Adam Sandler and SETH freaking ROGAN! 2 kings of comedy. Well one king and one WTF Prince!

Regret

Regret. Everyone has it. Some regret the things they did, like that one night stand or having that baby to young. Others regret the things they didn’t do, like not holding on to a good thing. Personally my biggest regret, as of now, is not holding on to the one who could have been everything. Fear makes us make mistakes. Fear makes us do numerous things. Fear made me run. Fear of commitment. Fear that I would lose myself in someone else. I regret other things too. I regret not finishing high school at Stockton and instead choosing to be home schooled. I regret missing out on what should have been my prom, my graduation. But I do not linger in regret. For if you spend all your time regretting the past, the present will fly by without you taking notice. You'll miss out on the great things. Like your soul mate, the chance at your dream job, the chance to make yourself into something worth being proud of.

Take the time to
regret but do not dawdle on your regrets for they are not worth it.
